Fifty percent of the art on display has now been sold. "My Grandfather was a Muskox", one of the larger pieces, sold late Sunday night.

The Ottawa Citizen has mentioned the show as a "Critics Pick" for fine arts in the newspaper on Saturday. Look for a full review in the arts section of Thursdays paper.

The opening has been a success. One third of the pieces have already sold and several collectors have yet to see the show. There is rumour of an article to appear in the Ottawa Citizen on the 22nd of March. The help of everyone involved is very much appreciated.

This post marks the first entry in what is to be a grand project: The digital archiving of the career of Alootook Ipellie. This website will also be a place where the public may follow the events in Alootook's work. This photograph is of Al on the left with Peter Purdy on the right.
